The whole major-scale system reduces to three little three-note shapes. Plus the outlandish scales drawn on the neck, and the strange chords as boxes. Diagrams read low-E on top. Tap dots and chords to hear them.
Play any major scale three notes per string and every string holds one of only three spacing shapes. That's the whole secret the video was selling: learn these three, learn how they chain, and you own all seven modes across the entire neck. The gaps are tone (T = 2 frets) or semitone (S = 1 fret).

Whole step then half step — frets 1·3·4. The half-step sits at the top of the string.
Half step then whole step — frets 1·2·4. The half-step sits at the bottom of the string.
That's it — T–T, T–S, S–T. The major scale's step formula (T T S T T T S) is just these three cells dealt out across the six strings. There is no fourth shape.
