Two amps, six strings, one weekend

Weekend Guitar
Playground

Boutique patches, scales your fingers don't know yet, chords that shouldn't be legal, riffs to steal, and a challenge engine for when you can't decide. Most of it makes noise — that's the synthesised string talking (Karplus-Strong, same as gitair).

01Boutique patches

Six weird ones built on your rig — Badger dry, Mesa wet, Mobius on the main path. Each has a "hear the idea" button playing a fitting phrase. Tones are starting points; the fun is breaking them.

02Scales your fingers don't know

Pick a root, tap a scale to light up the neck and hear it climb. Click any fret to play it. Then roll a random lick in the chosen scale.

03Chords that shouldn't be legal

Tap any grip to strum it. x = don't play, o = open. These are colour, not comfort — drop them into a vamp and let the BigSky carry them.

04Riffs to steal

Short, playable, and odd. Hit play to hear the line, read the tab, steal the move.

05Bizarre techniques & approaches

Things to try when normal playing gets boring. No backing track required — just curiosity and a tolerant household.

06Roll the weekend

Can't decide? Let the dice build you a practice prompt: a guitar, a patch, a key, a scale, a tempo, a technique, and one slightly unreasonable rule.
